headcanon.

 laurence  has  a  very  disjointed  way  of  thinking.  when  he  speaks,  he  tends  to  skip  entire  chunks  of  sentences  because  he’s  already  far  ahead  in  his  thought  process.  it  also  leads  to  odd  jumps  in  conversations,  words  getting  jumbled  around,  and  him  just  randomly  spouting  things  apropos  of  nothing.
