                    ❛  was  it  a  sexy  dream??  ❜  the  words  are  out  of  his  mouth  before  he  even  thinks  about  it.  several  emotions  flash  across  his  face  in  rapid  succession.  finally,  he  settles  on  a  confused  sort  of  mortification.  foot  in  mouth,  yet  again.  though  lucius  seems  to  find  it  more  cute  than  anything.  which  is  a  first.  a  pleasant  first.  a  first  he’d  maybe,  probably  like  to  keep  around.

                     laurence  doesn’t  move  when  a  shadow  falls  over  him,  just  tips  his  head  to  the  side  slightly,  enjoying  the  warm  sunlight  heating  his  body.  he’s  since  come  to  recognize  the  sound  of  lucius’  steps,  even  in  the  soft  grass.  

                    he  does,  however,  open  his  eyes  when  he  feels  a  hand  in  his  hair.  a  puzzled  expression  crosses  over  his  face  as  lucius  pulls  back  and  he  reaches  up  to  touch  his  hair.  soft  petals  brush  against  his  fingers  and  he  gives  lucius  a  bemused  smile.

❛  did  you  just  put  a  flower  in  my  hair??  ❜  it  makes  something  warm  fizzle  in  his  chest  that  has  nothing  to  do  with  the  sunlight  and  his  smile  softens  around  the  edges.
